Why MAGA women can't get along

The weird but funny gender politics of the Candace and Erika feud
For this episode of “Standing Room Only,” I watched way too much Candace Owens. (Though my guest has watched even more.) But it was important to unpack the gender politics of the “Bride of Charlie” series Candace is doing.
Erika annoys a lot of conservatives because she dropped her tradwife schtick the second she could, even though it was because her husband got killed. But Candace is just a big an anti-feminist phony. I explain why her attacks on Erika are still sticking.
Reaping season sucks
My guest was Brandy Zadrozny of MSNOW, who watched over 70 hours of Candace’s show, and has covered the far-right for a long time now. In this clip, we talk about how the nature of conspiracy theories has changed enough to make room for Candace and her imitators.
