Dumping JD Vance might actually be fun

Should Usha Vance leave her husband, who happens to be vice president of the United States? We aren’t trained psychologists at “Standing Room Only,” and have no other obvious qualifications to answer that question. But we definitely have opinions about what their marriage looks like from the outside.

More important, this sad but weirdly funny situation is a chance to talk about why the American right is still so screwed up about marriage — and why divorce doesn’t deserve the bad rap conservatives give it.
