Don't buy MAGA's "baby boom" hype

Republican voters aren't falling for it

Even MAGA doesn’t buy this “baby boom”

On this week’s “Standing Room Only,” I look at how Second Lady Usha Vance, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, and Stephen Miller’s own Eva Braun are all pregnant at the same time. Or, more specifically, how a desperate right wing media wants to believe this will inspire more women to get pregnant.

It won’t, and my guest Andi Zeisler and I get into all the reasons why. But what I found in my research is especially interesting: even the MAGA base doesn’t seem to buy the “baby boom” hype. The reasons they don’t care tell us a lot about where the actual base is at, versus its leaders.

Tylenol out, Botox is mandatory

In this week’s clip, Andi and I discuss how Karoline Leavitt clearly is getting lip fillers while pregnant. There’s no scientific research on if this is good or bad, but doctors don’t recommend it. After all, pregnant women are immuno-compromised and lip fillers put stress on your system.
