Apparently, Roseanne Barr “raps”

No newsletter Tuesday, due to the Labor Day holiday. Which is also my birthday weekend, which makes me wonder if I was just born to be both a workaholic and a leftist. Anyway, I hope readers can get some relaxation and I sure will try!

In the meantime, I am so excited for this episode. My producer, the ever-hilarious Russell Root, left “Standing Room Only” to attend grad school. His parting gift to me was making me watch and listen to a bunch of MAGA music videos, to offer my opinion both as a DJ and a political journalist.

We laughed. We cried. We defended the genre of hip-hop from the likes of, uh, Roseanne Barr. Enjoy!
