How many tradwives can dance on the head of a pin?
On this episode of “Standing Room Only,” I look at a recent Fox News segment making the claim that nearly half of Gen Z women want to be tradwives. If you’re skeptical about that, you should be! They got there by redefining the term “tradwife” into meaninglessness.
But that doesn’t mean this is harmless. On the contrary, this serves a larger GOP agenda to strip away women’s rights — and force women into dependence on men, regardless of what they call themselves.
Yes, they want teen girls to be pregnant
My guest this week is Kylie Cheung of Abortion, Everyday. She’s got a new article out about how Republicans are using online influencers to demonize birth control, in hopes of persuading women to give up fighting for sexual autonomy. In this clip, she reacts to Fox News complaining that teens aren’t having babies.
